Please help?
I am new to this forum and do not know if this is the correct way to ask for assistance.
Hunting for a shipwreck I found what appears to be a statue under sand and water. Preliminary tests indicates that  it is made of weak brass/copper.
Is what looks like a bird on top of a man's head just imaginary?
Kind regards
Eugene

That will need some serious preservation before anyone can even guess as to what that is. Good luck.

I will just go with my first impression of an ornamental hand axe.  The axe head is on the bottom??  Maybe a bird head on top??
