Hi All,
Had a great day today, just being out there was fun.
I didn't expect the finds I got today and believe me I vertually "never" find rings or such items of jewlery while relic hunting I cant remember the last time I found a ring.........Soooooooo  I found TWO one is a mans ring 10k the others is a womans sterling silver and they were in the bush quite aways.
A few coins nothing to shout about and a lot more "brass" today the old penknife is in very bad shape...Heres the pics.HH   Johnnn
Oh! dont forget the sink is my hobby sink not the kitchen sink, my wife wants me to make that clear. Violent

Nice finds! I would like to find an area close to me that has a good source of relics. Galveston would be closest but who knows what the hurricanes did in rearranging the island.

Hi Sammy girl,
No it wasn't dark out this site would be hard to detect in the dark by that I mean getting out of the bush is difficult at night when you are carrying all your stuff plus we have to cross a stream over a fallen log so we just get at it during daylight.......HH...Johnnn

This time of year I think if I get 7 hours at any site thats a good day,
but I do get tired of digging up shell casings and the problem at this site is a "badge" sounds exactly like a shell casing so you have to dig em up
A brass case is imposible to "reject" I have tried .......HH.....Johnnn
