Frist things I saw was a carpet cutting knife? Kinda looks like one... I'm surprized the wooden handle had'nt rotted gone. Cool find there vaios. Keep on posting your finds....

I too would call it a Carpet Knife.

I've used them for a thousand things .  Cutting Carpet, Tree work, Small Plants, clean up shafts for home made arrows and more.

it can resemble with knife for carpets however they is not.
I asked also grandfather and to me it said that they used before 30 years in order to they cut small plants in mountain
