I found this particular item in the Lamar site and I am still waiting for more information on it.
It is a tag that could have been pinned to a uniform. The pin is missing from the back.
The information I did get is, that Adolphus Busch when he built the Adolphus hotel in Dallas in 1912 he wanted to offer the very best his wealth could present.
His hotel was the tallest in Dallas in 1912 and remained that till the Magnolia petroleum building took that prestige over in 1922. Magnolia does that sound familiar?
One of the very first auto rentals in the Dallas area was offered by them to the effluent.
I am still waiting for a reply from the archives from the Adouphus people.
