Hi, My name is Sue Altman, and I am new here. I found a George Washington Medal and on the back it says "Boy Scouts of America. Honor Recognition Get out the vote campaign Forward on Liberty's Team, 1952." I found it at Homer Township Hall just down the road from where I live with a metal detector. It was exciting. At first, I thought it was a quarter. It is valued at $15.

Sincerely, Sue Altman

Nice, that coin is in good condition.  That is a good find, $15 is decent amount for it.  And welcome to the forums. Wink

thanks. I also found many wheat pennies, the oldest one is 1918, dimes but no silver ones. Many nickeles and quarters, and two rings. I have found more tokens too, and one was from Kokomos. I really like finding tokens. Sue Detecting.
