I've got a nice, clean DFX Spectrum E-Series w/950 coil. Willing to trade for Tejon. Will consider other offers. Let me know what you have.
Thanks!

Hello
Also have a DFX and like it best over any 'salt deposits / water'.   Still some what a newbe with the DFX and the learning curve or time with the detector can be more then some care for. Teach

I've had my Treasure Baron so long it seems like an extension of my brain. I haven't quite gotten there yet with the DFX And, while the DFX is very good it's pretty hard to beat the TB for depth. The Tone ID is nice but it takes some getting used to. I kind of wish you could reduce the number of tones to break them up into bigger segments. You can adjust most anything else on the DFX. Why not that? (Hey White's, we're still on 1.0 firmware- hint hint.)  I do like the DFX and may very well keep it if the right trade doesn't come up. It's a fine machine.

 Tone I D
Tone I.D. is used in the discriminate or motion modes.  When ON, each V.D.I target number has its own audio frequency or pitch (191 different pitches).  The sound that rejected targets produce will still be canceled or modified (broken up) by the discriminated circuit.
The 191 different pitches or tones activated with TONE I.D. cannot be adjusted as to their pitch.  Each V.D.I. number’s sound is predetermined by the factory and is not adjustable, nor will they shift with TONE with adjustments.

Coins
Re-sweeping over the pinpointed target location, reevaluate the audio response. Is it smooth or is it a little choppy?  Now,  cross-sweep the pinpointed location at a ninety-degree angle to the first sweep.  Is the audio response consistent for the two sweeps? A nice smooth target response from both sweep directions is likely to be a coin.

Hello
The coil could be scanning more than one target so it is a good idea to dig it all.   Wise
