Go Up Go Down

I have a few extra casino chips that I've been collecting the past couple of years, and was curious if anyone here also likes to collect them, or has a few stuffed away in a junk drawer or something like that - maybe we can do a trade? I've been wanting to try and collect a chip from one casino from every state in the US. And so I have a long way to go.

NEEDED:
Idaho, Maine, Minn, NC, TX, WY.

Thanks,
Wes

Not sure if this would count or not.....I have some casino type chips that were used in "Billy Bob's Texas" around 1983 before they took the gaming tables out of the club. It was for amusement only gambling. I would send one to you for your collection if you want. They took out the gaming tables at that time around 1984-85 and i am not sure if they ever put them back in or not. If one of these would work for you let me know which color you would like.

I'm at work - and unfortunately, those images aren't showing up here so when I get home I'll pull this thread up again, and take a look. They sound great - so I'll let you know. I love all the history behind those old casino chips and all the stories behind them (when a casino was open and how long it was open for, etc).

That's fine....I had a few things to do today so ended up at the house a little early. I am pretty sure that I have some CW lead but I don't have any buttons...most of that stuff has just been collecting dust for awhile so it would be good to get some of it gone...lol. Just let me know. Hopefully if the weather cooperate's I will get out in a couple of weekends to look for some more lead. Have a good week.

I'll take an Orange one! Too bad you won't let go of the lot! I'm guessing that (possibly) they might have been roulette chips, or poker tournament chips since they don't have a denomination on them. Nice group you have there!

I guess i really don't collect them (i didn't think) and i'm really not looking for more, but i do have a bunch of chips and dollar tokens from when i lived in vegas. Some (most) from places that don't exsist anymore.

Cani - If you'd be willing to part with them, please let me know what you have. A lot of people will make a run out to the 'sin city' for a weekend getaway, come home with a couple chips in their pocket then toss em into a junk drawer, then discover them about 10 years later! Sometimes people may have them in a shoe box stashed away somewhere or maybe in their garage in a jar or coffe can, whatever. Not all casinos put the name of their casinos stamped on their chips, sometimes it looks like a chip with just three initials on them.
NOTE: if anyone wants some forum gold for their casino chips just let me know too, and I'll be happy to trade that with you!
Wink
