Hi jimmyg8138

When I was coming back from Ardo Elephant park a 4x4 stopped next to me the man got out of his 4x4 and asked me if I was coming from the park and so we chatted for a while well I recognize the 4X4 on the photo and the sign writing on it had I known it was Lukas I would have held him back a bit longer very nice guy by the way.

Regards Xavier

I will call him tomorrow sometime after 10h00 now that I have his number. I'm sure that he will laugh when I tell him where I got it from LOL and you are quite right it is a small world and getting smaller with all the high speed air travel.

Good morning Gentlemen.
I am really enjoying the topic and I think we are on to a good thing, however I am a little concerned that everyone seems a bit fixated on contacting the old crew.
I only really know Wolf and Phil and they ARE very nice folk, however the task at hand is the formation of a brand new , well organised institution.
I think we need to concentrate on making new contact at fresh locations, every one is welcome as long as they are willing to abide by the institutions rules.
I am pretty sure that if we just start putting the pieces together, from scratch, we will soon find the more experienced (and elusive) crew making contact with us.
You might have noticed that I don't mention the word club here.
Let me explain this.... look, we all know it as a club but for the sake of "the powers that be"
I would suggest using the term "institution" or "society".
Be already have our backs against a wall...."club" is not going to cut it! It just sounds too amateurish.....silly I know, but as I said before this is going to end up like a game of chess!
Your move....
Viking

Viking

The reason why I want to talk to Lukas is to get information that he will be able to give us. Why re-invent the wheel? these folks have knowledge and experience that we do not have and I really don't see the point of spending months to re discover what they already know makes a lot of sense to me just to ask and if we do not get any answers then yes lets do it the hard way. I agree with you that the word club sounds very amateurish and that society is a better word to use but then I don't really mind what it's called as long as it's functional.

@ Jim

Hi Guys,

I have spoken to Lukas today, and boy is he a busy man... He is at this time making a movie... the new trade that he has taken up.... the movie is about Illegal gold miners, and is called Zama Zama....

Anyway, he has said that he will call in on us on the forum.... so lets just wait and see what happens....

In the mean time, lets get our details list together and carry on from there.... Viking has the list at the moment, so I will pass it onto Xavier as soon as I get it back. Once we have the list created, I will send a copy of the list to each member on the list....

To me a club or Society still does the same thing by bringing people together... so hopefully that is what will happen..... I do not think we should get to finicky about details at this time... lets just have fun, and get things moving as we go along.
