I've used it underwater a lot. It is a superb machine that had never failed me. I loan it to a friend of mine now and again who still dives. My hearing is good but my ears don't allow me to dive any more. It works great on the beach and when in the surf. I still snorkel with it and can dive down to about 6 feet to use it in shallow water and it performs as good as the day I took it from the box.

Silki, there are two versions out there. One is a PI version (like mine) and the other is a VLF/TR. I'd recommend the PI version.

Hey Xavier, you're quite the McGyver there....what is that you're building. I am building a diy cnc router.....for like the last year lol!
Love stuff like this!

Hi Viking

The other half of it is under the machine LOL I ran out of space on the inside of it  Any how this is an experimental VLF works quite well but still needs some work done to it and as I'm in no rush to finish it, it stands at the moment like you see it on the photo but I will get back to it soon I just dread having to make new coils for it (a real pain as there are three coils in there).

@ Silki

GD has given you the link to some good software that will do the job quite well. I have used it in the past it is easy to use and fast.

Regards Xavier

Hi guys

Well I'm done with the mods on the DBP2010 and it's really working well now. I changed the delay time from 175uS to 30uS and the coil is now 335.8 uH I'm now busy molding a the coil for it so tomorrow it's off to the beach for some real testing I will post a pick of the new coil as soon as I'm done.

All the best
Xavier
