NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -
It's considered the Holy Grail of comic books: Action Comics No. 1 from 1938, featuring the debut of Superman.

Contractor David Gonzales found one mixed in with old newspapers insulating a wall in a house he was renovating in a small town in Minnesota.  The home was built the year the comic was published.

Gonzalez said the comic stood out to him so he did some research that confirmed the comic was valuable.

Turns out the comic could have been worth more. He got into a heated discussion with a relative about its value, and the back cover got ripped.

I had a Neighbor's name was David Head.    I can say that because he Is Dead now.

Hi and his brother lived across the street from me.

His Brother and he had build a bed room on the end of the house.

They had three walls full of comic books.

I mean from the Floor up the the Celling as far as one could.

All us kids would spend hours at his pad reading those things and at the end of the day we would Rage him on why he did it.

After his 17th birth day out of the Blue he said TODAY IS THE DAY!     We all Went Uuuu?

He reacheched up on one of the shelfves and Pulled out a Comic.

He Said I'm Buying a New Truck To Day.

We Just Chuckled.

As it tunred out he had one of the First Additions of Super Man Still in the Wrapper and it was worth about $20,000.00 .

Boy we never gave him Stick again.
