Bulgaria: an Archaeology and Treasure Hunting Paradise. Or Hell (Novinite.com)

Note: This article is mostly based on my work for David O'Shea, a journalist from the Dateline current affairs program of the Australian SBS TV, who worked on a documentary on treasure hunting in Bulgaria in June 2009; on this project we were aided by Bulgarian archaeologist Ventsislav Gergov.

Christian;

Is this quote your quote or the quote of the writer?  Not clear.

The link is not live.... has an asterisk... so I will cut and paste later.

If that is your quote, what do you thik of Bulgarian wine? We used to get GAMZA, here, its pretty good, but no one imports it anymore.  Cry

Hello Brian,

no, it's just from an automatic News Feed. I have just fixed the link.

Best wishes,

Christian

The article is a foreboding one. I see new, restrictive laws coming up very soon.

The heritage of any land belongs to all the people not each of the people so I can see the dilemma for the Bulgarian government. They will no doubt go overboard with any new laws protecting heritage sites.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Christian;

I took the garbled link, that showed, and fixed it.... man what a depressing story!

I realized, later that you had a quote from the article, but sometimes its hard to tell. Funny

Its true, I cant get GAMZA anymore, imports from Bulgaria have disappeared, but I have found several Argentinian wines I like (it makes my medication taste better and a case lasts about a year.) Wise
