TREASURE hunters in Swindon are being urged not to go hunting for thousands of pounds buried at a beauty spot by a drug-addled burglar.

Dean Aldred, 30, has forgotten where he buried the ?4,300 he stole from a social club where his mum worked.

That's assuming a) the treasure hunter doesn't wait until the attention dies down 
and/or 
b) he/she doesn't exercise the necessary self control and either blabs about the find or spends it too quickly

One would think the insurance company would at least offer a reward for the return of the loot......better to pay a 10 to 20% finders fee rather than to risk the total loss.
