I wonder if any really neat prizes are hidden for geocachers to find...any caches such as stashes of money, jewelry, or other valuables? Is it like real treasure hunting but done with high tech equiptment? I've not been taught to geocache. What high tech devices does someone need to participate in this geocaching ?
Seems like geocaching wouldn't hold the same amount of adventure as finding an old buried cache from years gone by...such as a an old miser's cache or a miner's cache.

momo I think all you need is a gps and time. You go to a web site get clues and off you go. I found a container last year that I think was one it had key rings couple of  mardi gras  tokens junk. I think you take something and leave something who knows. I did put the container back were I got it. Sounds like fun but if I am going to hunt I want money. LOL
