Hi Paul
Have you ever found any heritage stuff over there ?

That Etrac is pretty good at finding stuff Im down to 10 inches without any trouble , the only problem Ive got to take a bigger shovel with me now.  lol    Went to this new site today its in an old creek crossing and a swimming hole that has been used for about 180 years picked out 3 copper pennys that have been buried for more than 40 years since they converted to decimal currency 1966. the pennys looked like new buried in the sand that long .

The only Problem that Im having with the ETrac is even though I discriminate some metals It doesnt seem to block them completly , Do you have simular problems wth the Explorer ?

Yes, found Roman,Medieval coins and bits plus some Spanish shipwreck coins from the coast.
With the discrim. pretty much all detectors do that.
I try to search with as little discrim as possible.
Once your ears get tuned to the different sounds you'll know when to dig!
