It was an interesting book.  The second hunt started a few months back in September or October.  Book was called "The Alchemist Dar" and had many companion books to go along with it.

Thanks stringfrenzy; The last one that I worked on was the 'Golden Horse' search from the 80's. I came pretty close. The finder was never able to collect as I remember, the contest folks thought no one would ever figure it out. Huh?
