Search History on Google Maps

Google have added an option to view your recent searches on Google Maps. Your search history is now presented in a panel at the bottom of the map side bar.

Using the new search history option means that users of Google Maps can load more than one search onto the map at one time. The results of each search are displayed on the map by different coloured map markers.

The new feature is really pretty useful. For example, if you are searching for restaurants in an area, it allows you to search for different types of restaurant and then compare your various searches.<

Christian;
yes, I just noticed that... I FINALLY got my Google Earth updated to Vs no. 5, yesterday, I saw that but have not explored it yet. It is fraught with possibilities.

One thing, though, You used a bad example, of a restraunt, as far as I am concerned, because the closest restraunt, to where I do my searching, is probably 150 KM, or nearly 100 mi.

I can clean up a Google Earth shot and upload it.... you wil see what I mean.

Cristian;
An example of my search area... perhaps you can see the lat/lon on the bottom... This Silver Creek in N. BC, once a big gold rush.

This current Google Earth images are 2006 and I was near there, physically, in August 2006, after these images were made (might see me down there?? Ha.) This is about 10 or 15 Km farther north, than where I was... IF we had gone 2 more KM, we would have found a superhighway logging road.... but no restraunts!

Here goes my first attemt at a picture.
