Treasure hunter slept in his car to protect record-breaking Roman coin discovery

A treasure hunter who discovered Britain's largest collection of Roman coins guarded them by sleeping next to them in his car. Laurence Egerton spent three nights in his after uncovering 22,000 4th Century coins in Seaton, East Devon, with his metal detector.
