also a few years ago a mother and daughter team found a gold bird off ft pierce beach while wading with detectors, 175k valuation...this proves there is still alot that has not been found...probably most has not been found....thanks carl....b

Its a Big Ocean , and after 300 years of tides and storms there has to be plenty buried yet to be found , there are still 3 wrecks from the Plate fleet yet to be discovered ..cheers Mick

Yes I remember that one, there is a center piece missing from the bird though, probably a semi precious stone like a ruby.
