Read it and my view is good luck to him as i am sure when he gets his share he will stop claiming benefits. A daily walk is supposed to help people with heart conditions so why not throw in some detecting with that walk. The people who do the moaning are only bitter that it was not them.Thats my opinion and i fully understand how bad it looks for him but such is life. :Smiley. Malc.

Technically if your claiming benifits from the state because your unemployed the law states you should be out looking for work not metal detecting in fields in hope of finding treasure.  The Tax payers are the ones paying for this guys pleasure and liesure maybe when he gets his rewards he can pay it back his dole money like MP's have to with their expenses?

Go Up Go Down

I had a heart attack on Feburary 21st this year it has not stopped me riding my harley nor has it stopped me using detectors and nor has it stopped me digging a bloody four foot hole recently and im no spring chicken and probably the oldest member here.
Some guys do anything to get out of doing a days graft.  The worst thing England ever did was do away with national service or conscription into the forces.  It made men out of boys now they are plastic people, no respect no discipline and they dont know the meaning of the four letter word called WORK.  Sorry that doesnt wear with me.
England should stop Social Welfare if I was a MP anyone who couldnt get a job in 4 months goes down the tip and earns his keep recycling plastics glass and old beer cans or spend time in the forces.  You can sympathise with bludgers and scivers my taxes helped him buy a machine and go out hunting when he should of been working.  And im not jealous either i have morals others dont.
