St Leonards treasure hunter detects rings owner after 22 years

This gentleman, who is now 90, found a ring detecting, belonging to an American, in 1987. The American Embassy didnt help him, so he wrote to President Bush and "got no answer". He didnt give up and took it with him to meet a US friend hed met at a conference. His friend traced the owner and last month he flew back to US to reunite the ring with its owner. Hope she gave him a nice reward! Sue
