I'm hoping to get some time to go look for it again, it was a very interesting ore, it had a lot of green in it also, maybe from copper near by. Right now i'm in Michigan, and i have a couple hunts lined up, one for silver bars and one for diamonds, i'll be back in AZ hopefully by this fall..

It sounds like the lost mine shoulnt be to hard for you to find. I think if you went back you would probly remember where it was.
Silver bars and diamonds sounds interesting. Are the diamonds cut or in there natural state?
Good luck with your hunting  Cool

if you find quartz with what might have a tiny amount of gold coloring in it that might have gold content how does someone go about pulling it out or what would be the process?

i have been up doing minor prospecting up around Stanton/octave area and pulled some rocks back home with me to work on. i can say that there is gold out in the area because  i have found small amounts. but then again i am basically just starting out in this type of thing and learning as i go. my uncle has gone to Boliva, Alaska and lots of cool places gold searching and has a claim out by the superstition's. so i have been trying to pick his brain..... Shocked
