Fun stuff Smiley I have run some of the Blue Bucket journey. That story is only part of the larger Steven Meeks wagon party. Meeks had crossed southern Oregon in the past and thought it was a great way to skip crossing the Blues, the normal Oregon Trail route. He convinced a party to let him guide them but they left later than he anticipated and all the springs had dried up. It was a tough journey and at one point Meeks even had to hide in the back of some of the less angry peoples wagons for days to keep one group from lynching him.   Shocked
