ok,
for those looking into seychelles treasure , this might be something, then again it might not.
on google earth find bel ombre on mahe island seychelles
run a line from wilkins dig at bel ombre over mountain to other side of island.
u will see a few wee islands look between these islands and the main land.
there is a river mouth,leading to swamp/mangrove,
now if a boat was to row through this they will find a waterfall
(which can be seen on you tube)
in this area in the rain forest is a rock/stone with a portuguese /soldiers helmet carved into it.
i know its had a shallow dig done and some burnt wood was found not from the islands
it could be just a burial site in the rain forest.
so for argument sake if a pirate decided to climb up from bel ombre side walk to other side and see a waterfall directly in line from where he was ,would he not think hmmm i could row a boat with heavy stuff this far inland and bury it,
as opposed to wilkins site where complex walls were built to stop water getting in so he could dig.
would a pirate actually bury treasure directly on the beach in front of nosy locals?
additional info; it was church land until recently. now a russian owns the land the site is on.
also why is a church built in such a remote part of the island and so big?
the church sits on the right hand side of the river mouth.
like i said it might be something it might not but hey good luck if anyone want to snoop.
