Re: Troy Custom Detectors Still Around

Hey gang,

I'm leased to report that Troy with Troy Custom Detectors is still around.

Several years ago, I bought a pair of his $100-plus headphones with the lifetime warranty. Over the weekend, my earphones broke while out in the field. I looked up his website and called Troy on Monday. Even after all of these years, (I think I bought them in 2003 - 2004), he said he would try to honor the warranty by fixing them.

They are the best set of headphones I ever owned. Now I just can' t wait to get them back.

Here's a followup to my previous post

Nice to know that Troy is still around.  Several years ago, I purchased a set of his headphones with the lifetime warranty.

A couple of weeks ago while detecting with Don, Roger and Johnny, those headphones broke.  So I contacted Troy and mailed them to him.

Received them in the mail today.  Can't wait to try them out with my F75.
