It's a rock on the ground, it's a specimen when you take it home.

Yes, pretty amazing to say the least.
(Re run) it has been on the history channel before.
I watch it eveytime it comes around.
It seems that the ancients were on to something long
before modern technology had it's say so.

It's too bad that a lot of the knowledge was destroyed by the Spanish
in their effort to civilize the heathen populace here in the Americas.
That was one thing I believe the History channel left out.
The Aztec items melted down or just destroyed by the Spanish may
have held the key to some of the mysteries.
Such as the gold figurines of the "air planes" truly what did they represent?

Just to perceive how the pyramids/buildings "around the world" could be built to such precision from stones too hard to cut with anything but diamond cutting instruments is too baffling to understand for the simple minded, like me.

The Mayan Calender is one of the things I find the most intresting.
How did they know of the distant stars and the alignment of the
solar system in the Milky Way galaxy? Perplexing.
It's a paradox we may never understand, unless the "visitors"
actually come back and explain it all.

What you can do with a lifetime of no TV  Grin. One thing about astronomy I have to remind myself is how much clearer thier sky was. They had no light pollution, air pollution usually, and nothing else to do at night but watch the sky. I sometimes think to myself how often do I look up? In this modern world not very often, although some people do.

There are definitely some serious mysteries with ancient objects that don't fit into modern perception of ancient life. Some have been branded fakes and yet with more and more anomalies popping up one has to wonder? Fun stuff!

pics of the planes, models have been made and they fly true
another,it was found in an egyptian tomb,a model was built and flight tests were done.it would have flown true if it had a rutter, upon futher examing near the tail it looks like something had broken off, when a rutter was put on the model,it flew true.it'd be interesting to see a debate from both sides on this.on tv you can always be swayed depending on whos telling the story.................but still interesting

Sadly true, the documentary folks sometimes leave out anything that casts shadow on what they are trying to allude. Some of those objects really speak for themselves though. Honestly what else could they be?
