Lost Libraries

I wondered if any one knew if there were any lost libraries that could even make the Library of Congress  look tiny.  I've been thinking that wouldn't it be great to find an ancient library that could tell the tales of history, literature, and religion truthfully and that knew things that humans could only wish to understand.  If a library such as that is to be found it would be found in the Middle East since life itself started there.  But, unfortunately a library that great could be created by a spirit or other heavenly being that wished that no one finds.
