Results of the Lone Star Treasure Hunt

(1/1)

Out4gold:
Well my results anyway.
Total for the day was 1 dos Peso gold coin, 122 wheaties, 5 Eiseinhower Dollars, 5 "V" nickles, 1 1976 Proof 40% silver quarter, 18.00 cash and the best part of the day was a "Garrett" Pro pin pointer.
I had a great time even if I did not hit in the fund raiser. The fund raiser had a small chest of silver coins with a total value of greater than $100.00, A dos peso gold coin and a fantastic Grill.
I really wanted that grill.
Our hunt is the best. We have several hunts all seeded with silver and tokens. The tokens are worth whatever the list is posted as.
The different catagories were as follows.
Dollar hunt (Cash for different marked cents)
21 hunt (Marked cents when totaled to equal 21)
All metal detector hunt (Nothing to win but metal detectors)
Quarter/Half hunt (All silver coins)
Main hunt (Dimes/Quarters/half dollars) all silver
Bad Andy fund raiser hunt (Coin rolls and caches) This is the one where I found the gold dos peso.
All catagories had lots of competition.
Maybe some of you guys can come down here and join us next year.
It is one of the best in the country without a doubt!
One of my new found friends (his first ever competition hunt) found a token and hit on a detector a "Whites Prizm"! He's happy he listen to me now.
I will post pictures as soon as I can.

Later you guys.

GoldDigger1950:
Congrats on the Garrett pin pointer! That's an awesome little tool. Sounds like a good time was had by all.
