LOL!  If you had no connection with em,  You just slug some wire up the side of a tree wrap it around the antenna and it would work every time.

They put out 5 Watts and the new phones only put out about .25o Watts.

 Cool

If my saw and gas cans wer'nt heavy enough that thing weighed 8 to 10 pounds and it stood about 8/9" tall without the Arial
But it was never as heavy as the bill at the end of the month Holy Moly, my first one was over 1200 Dollars Shocked

But it was good just the same.

Never had the Shoe Phone, But I usually have the parts to build a Fox Hole Radio so I can hear if the Slitzoniuns are attacking.

Razor Blade and or Chunk of Galina,  20 ft of Wire I steel out of the speaker in the Van Door, Toilet paper tube, Ear phone made from Piezo Tweeter.

Regulation MacGyver stuff ya know.

Not a free appl. Right?

It was free for my Android but has a paid version called Donation Ware for eliminating the very few ads you see. The ads were not intrusive but I always donate for apps I use. It keeps the developers busy. It was only a dollar.

Search your app store for TapaTalk and you'll find it.
