Hello Everyone,
                    While doing some research, on Civil War Veterans Located here in the evergreen
state ( cuz its always damm raining Grin ) I came across this artical that was printed in the Seattle PI Newspaper some years ago ( which btw went out of bussiness yesterday!!!) On a very colorfull character of the Confederate Navy.

Enjoyed the part where he was still sinking ships after the war was over - communication was a little slow. Guess if you lived N of Dixie, you were fair game!

All the newspapers going out of business - one of my favs, the Miami Herald, is up for sale. Hope someone buys it.

         Yeah talk about slow communications LOL, what I thought was funny, was after he was banned from the US for 10 years, they gave him a state job of authority! (The paper in seattle
