Go Up Go Down

It's been a while that I have posted any thing, I started hunting 9 days ago working only the soft sand which I never due ,mostly working the tide  beach at dead low tide. What was different this time was a gray colored patch of sand that caught my eye about the size of a baseball infield. working the area produced 5 rings two where old 9.25 silver with nice stones on the crown one was a small wide gold wedding band and a couple of customer jewelry, about 25 coins two were silver. Not all the coins pictured were found in the gray sand but durning the nine day hunt..

Note.. after to a beach working driving a loader ,I asked him about the gray sand ,where did it come from? He told me that a sand dune was removed to make way for a new excess road for beach vehicle. that explains the old coins and rings.. I will try and post a picture of the find.

Need help to post picture, says file size is to big, just one picture.

Good observation on that one!!   They are replenishing the sand at a few beaches I hit and I thought maybe some goodies might show up but nothing. At least no bobby pins!

In our very own download section, you can get a free copy of a stand alone Windows program for re-sizing images. By stand alone, I mean that it doesn't have to be installed. Place it on your desktop or somewhere convenient and use it to make your images smaller for posting. The original image is left alone and a new one with a _sm added to the name is created so you can upload it.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
