I recently came across this story and wanted to share it.
A man went through his change and found a silver dime, he looked at the date and it was a 1965 Rosie. His knowledge on the subject led him to believe it was a rare coin because he knew the last silver coins issued was in 1964!
It went up for auction and he got $6,000.00 for it.
According to the story only a few are accounted for....look through your Rosies! You too may have one of the Missing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is unknown how many got out of the Philidelphia mint.
