Go Up Go Down

I have been detecting an old elem school (this school and other's in this school district have been closed for several years) off and on for years and recently gone back for the last 2 weekends. So far I have found approx 1 dime and 20 lincoln penies, however, last weekend (04/29/12) I did find one wheat penny, I was trying to clean it up so I could read the date and my tumbler belt broke (have some ordered just waiting for delivery) it's been in the ground a long time.

I think the school has more to offer, I know the school is older than me and I am 58 years old. I don't think it's been detected by anyone other than me, well who knows.

Keep at it.     Try along the Side Walks .

Coins got dropped and kicked off into the dirt or grass.

 Cool

And of course, try to find where the old merry go round, jungle jim, and swings were. Usually a lot of coins lost at those areas. I am 59 and when I as 10 or so, we climbed up on the tall gym (don't remember how, I think up the old heavy duty gutter downspouts) and kids had thrown several dollars worth of pennies upon the roof.
