I recommend a tour  RIPPAVILLA PLANTATION  in SPRING HILL TENN. just outside Columbia if you ever go through there check it out it was Gen. Hoods headquarters  as well as GEN. BULL NELSONS. Several in  command met there before the battle of Franklin including GEN. Nathan  Bedford  Forrest whos home was not too far away .  it was used as a hospital also . you can tour the battle fields as well there is assumed to be 80 or more confederate dead buried in just part of the yard the union dead  were relocated by the goverment later after the war  . Columbia  has some historical homes as well  .
