I just find it interesting and very educational in the sense that some people went to so much trouble to even get special paper, watermarks, serial numbers, etc just to make it look authentic. The ones i have even have stains and even smells like it was in a cave for the past decades. Hahahaha! I doubt if any bank could have the amount stated in these notes specially if they were from the 30's. Its just common sense.

your right the banks would not carry that amount of funds and as BA said that they were used for
transactions between the Bank and the Federal Reserve

Nuff said. Sadly, too many people are just plain blinded by the lure of instant and great wealth instead of checking out the facts. Yes maybe there are some truths regarding the yamashita treasure but conspiracy theorists just keep on trying to link the FRN and FRB to it. But it just isnt so.
