Looking at starting to do some  Detecting around Jasper TX. anyone know of some spots for a sorta newbe... (TX Newbe).... Also maybe next Jan-Feb getting together for some hunts??

If it were me, I'd find out where the Confederate Quartermaster depot was and then ask landowners in that immediate area for permission to hunt their property.
