Thanks for the reply everyone. Didn't know about the banning.  I know I will never got to the mountains to look, but I try to read everything I can find on the boards.  To me, it doesn't matter if there is anything there or not. The stories are great, and it gets the imagination going. In my little world, there would no  treasure greater than the one I see in my mind. That's why I love to read so much.  Thanks again for the info, and good lock in the hunt!!

I believe that Doc found a lot of treasure and after he died, the Army went and dug it all up.  I wonder where the treasure went.
