OK now I see the difference, I will make a coil like yours, I can't get the 0,25mm so I will just have to make do with 0,20mm wire. I guess that it's just about time to post this as a complete and working project then mate, well done.

the concrete floor and the Roof construction influence the Performance of that 32cm coil
wit 27cm coil i got better target Audio but the Overall depth is lower than 32cm

but i think outdoor, and adjusted far away from all metal the 32cm will work very good

I found that I have three problems testing detectors indoors, one is the floor that is made from reinforced concrete, then there is the electrical system and lastly are all the TV sets that are on and cell phones all round me. My solution to the problem is to go to the forest with my tools and do all my testing there, a bit of a pain but the results are so great that it's well worth it.

Interesting project. Is it complete or ongoing? I noticed in the videos no faraday shield around the coils. Does that affect performance/depth?
By the way, has anyone built Overton/Moorlands Raptor? Looks like an interesting future project.

sorry for late reply, my News info mail Option is not right configured

coil is indoor tested and unshielded, for outdoor and real use in soil i think is enough to shield the RX part
if you will 100% shure shield it complete

Admiral is still going on
on german detektorforum.de (Partner-site from thunting)
we are working on Admiral 3 Version with newer Version of geotech vdi
not fully tested, it is end of the year and the Family needs our time too

i think you will hear some News on the first weeks of 2015
if all are regenarated from silvester party
