Hi Guys

Can someone tell me how do I work out the amount of turns that I would need on a DD coil? Or where can I find the formulae? Or do I use the same formulae as for an LC circuit then split the coil in two?  I want to use this coil on a 16Kzh machine.

Regards
Xavier

Just use a calculator for a open air coil.

When you fold the round coil into the D it will change a little but not enough to be upsetting.
