Hi the Mod-3 is designed to find small items of ferrous and non ferrous metals in  a depth of 30 cm of soil based in AVR AT90S2313-10PI ho generates pulses with adjustable frequency from 2.84 kHz to 74.4 kHz and an adjustable phase from 0 to 180 degrees . Frequency and phase can be adjusted  by pressing the S2, S3, S4, S5 and current value can be stored in nonvolatile memory EEPROM .



It is an easy and open source project can be upgraded and modified (add display ,change micro ecs..)

Has anyone built/tested one of these? I'm thinking about giving it a try. I have a couple of ATMEGA16's laying around that have been waiting for a project.
