Good stuff thanks Eugene

Your very Welcome Xavier .

I think the sprint files in the package are viewable with Sprint Version 5.0 and the new 6.0 !!

So just that you know there is new Sprint 6.0 version and the new 6.0 .Lay files can only be viewed on 6.0 ,  pretty clever of them !!!  LOL

I remember reading some complaints , I can not see the Latest and final Golden Sabre Light Version  , LOL  .  Because the PCB file is done with sprint 6.0 and some parts are missing too ?  They got it working but nothing like the Original and or Russian Version !!!

If the Meteor does not hit the Earth on Sunday . I would like to build this with the others here too !!!  LOL

A 25,000 mile pass-by  . It just appeared out of nowhere ?

Best Regards.................Eugene

I had no problem to open the LAY files. I see that you posted the Bottom copper on PDF but do you also have the top copper, this would make it easier for me.

great home job. thank you for sharing. I did not look similar tesoro schematics because GMT King Cobra has two tone sound... it gives some advantage IMO.

Interesting.
I wonder how many variations there are and which one is the correct, or closer to the original.
On the schematics that you just post the receiver coil is center taped to the GND.
It’s not on the previous

This is exactly why I'm not in the mood to do any more builds that I'm not 100% sure are correct. The time and money that I have spend over the past 5 years has not been worth it as I still do not have a good metal detector. I think that unless you start a build from scratch using your own design ideas or are 100% sure that the schematic is correct, don't build it as most of these schematics found on the net are quite useless.

Xavier , I know what you are saying, I understand .

What caught my attention on this schematic was the 1% precision resistors !!!  The first I have seen on the Golden Sabre ?

Whoever took the time for the small but very important details  , this one could be an old original .

If in doubt, just save it for future reference if you want.
Many people have problems building this one because they trust the new light version "schematics" with changed parts compared to original factory circuit boards .
But everyone is free to make a choice .  Troubleshooting and testing is a very fun and rewarding challenge . I learn new stuff everyday . That's what this forum is all about, learning new stuff, talking and listening, .

Regards...................Eugene

I hear you Eugene but I think that I have done all the learning that I need to for the moment trying to debug problems of all sorts and that it's about time that I get out to have some fun, the thing is that I can't afford to spend 695 Euro for a detector (AT Pro) so now I'm working on my own design but that's a whole new ball game and I'm no where near having a working detector let alone a good one. When a detector schematic is proposed I download it and put it into my archive as one never know when you'll get a winner.

I just opened the zip file that you posted but the schematic is no more clear than the one that you did not Zip, did you Zip the right one?
