i decided to invest in a vlf machine......and the choices in the $400 range are ....the fisherlabs F4 , the minelab x-terra 305, or the fisher F2 for $200 , the deal is a good basic detector thats able to handle the salt water of the tidewater to the appalachains, so i want a good bang for the buck, but it needs to be able to handle various ground conditions. all in all i`m leaning towards the fisher F4 because of acsessories and warranty, so if i shell the cash the idea is to get a keeper, any users of these machines that have real insight on the best unit would be helpful............ Cheesy
