Yes , one 10 k resistor value was added between U13 pin2 and S2-1 .

Double signal at tx [transmit] ? Check IC 7555 pin 1 should be to ground only . Double signal where ? I am using this schematic here:

Actually it uses Three Signal lines Derived from the Receive signal.

1. Original Received Signal used in detection of target.

2. A signal cancelling the Ground.

3. A signal limiting Phase of detected target for Discrimination.

What they are doing is using a base tone mixed with the Detected signal.

Using the Mixed tones in easier to Hear then the Streat Detected tone (TO HIGH TO HERE) or a Switched Audio tone.

VCO tone would be good too but not as much info to hear.
