Hi Eugene

Glade that you brought up the coil. I live in SA and there is no way that I will find one here. I was having a look at the schematics and I don't see a bucking coil on there so what kind of configuration are they using? Also there is no info on the coil diameter, inductance, wire gauge so I guess that I'm going to dump this one too I will no longer build any machine that dose not have full documentation. I learned my lesson with the DBP2010

Hi X,
All of the Tesoro coils and "laser" coils fit all Tesoro detectors.
They come in 2 varieties 4 pin and 5 pin.
The 5 pin are for the older models which are the ones you'll find schems. for
There are loads of them available here in the U.K. that can be picked up cheap(ish)
If you want I'll see if I can find something over here and let you know?
An 8 or 10 inch coil will give pretty good depth.
I'd still strongly recommend going the "Tesoro" route......

I see that the bucking coil is on the TX ciol and not on the RX coil is this what you call a laser coil?
