Hi,
I think (but not sure) these are made by tesoro under a different name (as were "laser")?
If those prices are correct - looks good!

I guess they are cheaper somewhere else - compare the prices for Garrett ACE on the same Site.

Hi Paul
That Golden mask looks a bit cheapy but I suppose if it works who cares . at least it looks modern except for the no  readout screen  but I think the majority of people go by the sound of their detector after a while anyway.
Got my Etrac today havent had much of a chance to put it to the test its been raining all day. getting a bit toey lol   .  Theres heaps of info on  how to adjust them and operate  them on the net .   I think Ive got it under control already  got a good book ( Andy Sabisch ) it covers all Explorer models and Etrac worth getting if you havent got one yet .

Yeah, have to agree it doesn't look the best construction.
Glad you got your Etrac (Lucky man!)
Always rains when you are itching to try something out!
BTW - Dont get the Etrac too wet at the control box end of things if you do get too tempted!
They dont like water in there!
Try and get a control box cover if you can, if you can't find one in Aus. they are easily available over here - give me p.m. and we'll sort something.

Yep,
As you said .... awesome!
Should last you for a long time to come and hopefully could pay for itself out in the "nugget" territory!
I'm hoping to get one in the next few months ... soon as fiances allow!

There are a few gold nugget spots not far from here a couple of hours drive but I want to get a real good run-down of this detector before I get into that,   Ive already got a GP Extreme so It would be interesting to match them up.

Hello Everyone . I was just wondering if anyone has tried one of the new Minelab Xterra models . There are 3 new models . I guess they have been on the market a couple of months now .  I am sure they can not beat the new Whites Vision-Spectra . But how good are these New Minelabs for the money ?..................Regards.........Eugene
