What Xavier is Saying Is,,, The GMT running at 48khz is in fact an LF detector which means Low Frequency and machines that run between 3khz and 30khz are VLF machines which means Very Low Frequency,

The GMT Is Very Deep on Tiny Gold and I mean TINY Gold, it will see Gold smaller than A 0.05 of a Grain or 0.002 grams, it can see Gold so small that you have to wet your finger just to pick them up,

I own A Few whites Machines and as I said on your other topic we need to know what you are trying or wanting to do,,,Ok

Is there such unit on the market that combines both operating principle in one unit?

Yes there is. VLF and PI in one unit.
I read about it some time ago, It was I think made in Poland.
The designer was/is a member of geotech.
Still looking for the link. I will post it when I found it.

Hi guys

Yes been away for a while but am planning to been back for good.  Cheesy  I was wondering whether I can think of a detector to work with the pulse and the VLF or better still would be LF that would make a good detector especially for those looking for gold.

I did have a look mate and I must admit that I did read it some time ago,  the thing is how do they want to have it work? You can have it as a VLF or a PI  when in use or are they planning to use both at the same time? If i were to build one it would only work as the detector in use.
