Practically any detector of any frequency will find gold nuggets. The frequency makes a difference only in size and shape detection. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Manufacturers love it when you have no idea. Then they can sell you one you don't really need because somebody on some forum tells you you really need a machine with (blah, blah, blah) frequency to find gold.

It's a non-issue. Believe it.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Thank you, People like you are the reason I joined this forum. The machine is a MP5 Pro Metal Detector with 5 Year Warranty, It is cheaper and a good starter I hope.

What parts of the world are you going after gold?

Not keen on the Auto GB on the machine but you have what you have.

Try running it in all Metal, As high as Sensitivity as it will allow.

Dig even the Faint Wispers.

Get your self some #6 or so LEAD bird shot and see if the machine will detect it.

It's not Gold but should produce a similar Response.
