Tested?

That S1 is Sascho project. Data for the coil are on the scheme: L1= L2, 170mm diameter of coil, 100 turns, wire thickness 0.31mm. Detection coin of 20 mm at a depth of 260 mm in soil. No iron mask over gold. Here's another option, but without the LM2930-8 (replaced with 7808).

Thank-You Dr. Jare . I will look at all the files today . Great work !!  The last sprint layout file you posted the board on "export gif photoview" looked like it was twice as big as the circuit , oversize ? Maybe gerber export file is correct ?

Best Regards...........Eugene

That is twice as bigger, but the distribution of elements on the PCB is correct. Here are twice less (if you mean something).

ZIP files to Reply # 2 on the "S" variant old metal detector. ZIP file to Reply # 4 on the "S1" new improved version. To emphasize the "S" and "S1" excellent work.only that the "S1" better. The difference between "S" and "S1" is insignificant and does not require repair a PCB.
