My next step is to tune my CZ3D to enhance discrimination and keep only signals from chondrites(including hot rocks and higly mineralized objects).
There are around 30 potentiometers on the twin pcb to tune this very powerfull detector. It took me months to understand and identify most of the potentiometers
functions like sensitivity, discri, ground effects etc. Now it air test a dime between 13 and 14 inch(according to EMI level) with the 10,5" coil.  Cheesy Cheesy

Range tests in the air are not meaningful. Only tests in real conditions can be taken into account, because many detectors with great outcomes in the air do not "see" objects against the background of mineralized soil.

Hi. I know air test can be very different from real ground conditions. However a poor air test result Will never give a better ground conditions result. I dis the dime air test because its a universal test. And I confirm the cz3d with new settings is very deep in ground conditions... Kiss
