Hello Everyone . I have seen these pop-up on e-bay and craigslist for usually around 50 u.s. dollars or so . All the owners manuals are easily available on the internet but no schematics and or specs so far. They are probably good machines for their time , the only thing I do not see  is a G.E.B. control only the auto. or discriminate setting .  For the price it might be a good general purpose detector to experiment with , unless someone else disagrees . Well that's what this forum is about anyway , opinions and ideas.

Best Regards............Eugene

Hey Eugene good to see you.

and look at all them batteries

Yeah and you don't want to replace them high dollar but Eugene GD or Homefire could probably tell you a cheap replacement fix.

Good to see everyone again !!!  The TR73 might be from the early 1970's . I also read that it was very sensitive to old coins too ? So I am looking for one , and I do like the chest strap feature . I think GD is a bit older than this one , lol  Wise

Best Regards.............Eugene

About Time you showed up!

Were ya been?

The only thing I don't like about TR detectors is you have to keep a steady level from the ground.

Never was too good with that.

Hello Homefire . Yea , Its good to see everyone still here too !! Been busy with that painfull subject called [employment] .
The coinmaster 6/dbh is the same type of housing/unit [shoulder strap] has the GEB searchcoil and GEB adjustment . I found one on craigslist for 75 dollars . I am looking to buy one or two hopefully dirt cheap for experimenting and possible dissection , if necessary . Hopefully I can find em on craigslist close by me [locally]  . Gas is back up to 3.35 gallon here , its crazy again !!

Regards.........Eugene

Wasn't the TR73 tuned to find gold nuggets? I can't remember never was a big Whites man. ( Sorry that sounds bad coming from a half breed Indian. )
