Hello roozbeh,

     Welcome to THunting.com.
Now, for a key rule.  Do NOT lock your topic like you did this one.  When you do that, no one can answer you (except an admin and a moderator....and they may not know the answer).   Also, I have moved your post to a board that is more appropriate for your question.

Good luck.  There are lots of good VLF detector project you can choose from.

BA

Best bet is to get a kit from SilverDog.

Some years ago I assembled the VLF detector. But it has shown bad results. It reacted to change of ground and reacted at not metal objects (as pyrite. chalcopyrite and other sulfides). It will be vain work Only pulse induction detectors  will be suitable for search of metal items.
It is very important for search of gold nuggets.

You obviously did not construct the coil properly. If you do not balance (null) the coil properly it will miss behave.

Being VLF, my bet is you did as X said ...    Another option is you did not ADJUST THE Phase within Rang to be detected .   Again as X said the Un Nulled Coil would do that.

No! All is correctly adjusted and coil too.
The VLF detector incorrectly reacts at damp soil or change of conductivity of soil. The PI detector reacts only to metal and has higher sensitivity. It is confirmed by my long-term experience of work with these two types of detectors. I use sometimes such operating procedure, as first VLF detector and then PI detector for precising of detecting.
And PI detector is more expensive in some times than VLF detector.

for homefire.
 All is right adjusted.
Vlf detector works well only at dry and homogeneous ground.
